Superb guitar playing & angelic falsetto

Thursday 22nd May 2014
jack-crop

Delicate acoustic material written in the city of Nottingham. A wearied, fragile and conspicuously strong tenor vocal coupled with the finger style guitar playing of Paul Simon on speed. Lyrics evolved of beat culture, failed romance and smoke-induced neuroticism. A one-man symphony on record, live and unplugged his voice has echoes of Don McLean and Tim Buckley and his songs circle between the lovely and the lonesome – this is music to blow smoke rings and ponder the world to.

Jack will be supporting Paul Weller on two dates off his tour at the end of May and performing at Dot to Dot and Splendour Festivals this summer.

His new album "All Will Be Well" will be released August 2014.

"Midlands tunesmith with an angelic falsetto singing about car bombs and weight loss." - Paul Lester, The Guardian

Gallery 47 will be performed at Dot to Dot Festival 2014. Watch his live performance in the following exclusive videos
