03Interview

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Elvis Presley - Burning Love

My Nan's house when I was small, heard that track and haven’t been able to stop listening to Elvis since.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

Oasis - Rock ‘n’ Roll Star - Remastered

Because I’m in a band, when I hear this track it makes me want to be a rock n roll star.

A song from your most memorable gig?

The Stray Pursuit - Out of This World

This is one of my own tunes, this was our first single that came out at the end of February this year, we headlined our biggest venue, Sin City, and sold it out, over 200 people singing this back to us was quite memorable.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Stereophonics - Dakota

That chorus just gets you bouncing doesn’t it, also a fellow welsh band, be rude not to.

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Vida - Take It Easy

We supported Vida in Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff, can’t get enough of this track.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Oasis - Slide Away - Remastered

Turn this one up in the car when you're driving and belt it out.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

The Who - My Generation - Stereo Version

Says a lot for the generation I come from, known as the snowflake generation, I’m not like the rest of the snowflakes.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

The Killers - Mr. Brightside

When this comes on you can just belt it out wherever you are and it’s completely acceptable.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

The Stone Roses - Sally Cinnamon - Single Mix

A chilled out track just to see the night through with all your mates, good tune to scream at 7 O'clock in the morning to wake the neighbours.
