Name, where are you from?
My name is AikJ (ike-jay) I'm from Ireland, born in Nigeria.

Describe your style in three words?
Colourful, smooth, youthful.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
The Best gig would be Kendrick Lamar at Longitude. The energy the crowd brought was unmatched, he made me really wish I could be the one controlling a crowd like that.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands or artists in history?
Michael Jackson and Chris Brown, we would be dancing at each other's sets and people would think we planned it.

Which Subcultures have influenced you?
Anime/Cartoons and comics - It's a part of my daily routine, sometimes I indulge in it too much, I might not be as well versed as a die-hard fan though cause I have other things to obsess over lol. But it all plays a part in my creativity and keeping me fresh, it's really who I am since I could walk. Video Game culture is another thing, I have been away from it for some years cause I felt it would distract me from music, I wanted to reach a certain place in my career and then have the opportunity to sit in my mansion and catch up on all I've missed as a reward for the hard work I've done.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
An hour wouldn't be enough and one person is quite difficult, I would say Timbaland, he is my fav producer and getting to pick his brain, I'd try to spend that hour trying to be his mate forever.

Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
I think the best venue I have played indoors would be the Button Factory in Ireland, the sound there makes you feel invincible. But I'm still waiting on my Olympia and 3arena debut so I need to compare them as well.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
I would say that's easily Wretch 32, he's so underrated it's not even funny, he should be way bigger than he is right now, my fav UK rapper and a prime example of how people gravitate towards popularity before talent.

A song that defines the teenage you?
