Name, where are you from?
Baxter Robot, Cork Ireland.
Describe your style in three words?
Artsy, but cool
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Radiohead at the Three Arena Dublin. Got to watch Thom Yorke bust some of the grooviest dance moves ever seen (after battling my way to the front row). No, but for real they are the greatest live act around at the moment. Watching them all play different instruments on stage was really inspiring. We try to incorporate that into our live show... whenever the next one of those will be lol.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?Nirvana and maybe Jeff Buckley. Because well they are two of my favourite artists and both are dead, unfortunately. Would be cool to go back in time and see how our music would be received I think. Hello here is autotune be AFRAID be very AFRAID.
Which Subcultures have influenced you?
Grunge and Emo subcultures respectively (although I may try to forget the latter). I warmed to the outcast nature in which both subcultures lie. It is very much an us against YOU kind of thing which is a nice feeling when you feel like a KEWL LOZER RAWR xD!!!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Hunter S. Thompson for sure, I think he is just the epitome of eccentricity and would love to pick his mushed up brains over a nice and lovely Chivas on the rocks.
Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
Hmmm, it is tough to choose from, I like the ones that give you free beer haha. No, but I do like all venues really. They all have their own little story and setting.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Yung Lean for sure. He is THE GOAT really doesn't get enough credit for what he's done for the music and art world. I don't think the mumble rap scene would have popped as much in the underground without him. He's been such an inspiration to many including me ILY YUNG LEAN XXXXXXXXXX.
The first track you played on repeat?
Territorial Pissings by Nirvana. I had so much rage inside of me when I was younger and I really didn't know how to let it all out until I heard this song.
A song that defines the teenage you?
'505' by Arctic Monkeys. 24/7.
One record you would keep forever?
The Life of Pablo because it's a 10/10 back to back CLASSIC.
A song lyric that has inspired you?
"You'd worry less about what they thought if you knew how little they did"
From 'Call My Phone Thinkin I'm Doing Nothing Better' by The Streets. Mike Skinner is just such an amazing lyricist. This can be used in all aspects of life as a mantra.
A song you wished you had written?
'Out Of Time' by Blur.
Best song to turn up loud?
'YuNg BrAtZ' by XXXTENTACION.
A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Spicy' by Herve Pagez.
The song to get you straight on the dance floor?
'Poison by' The Prodigy. YAAAHH!!
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Sleep Sound by Jamie xx. Tried and tested.
Any new bands you are into at the moment?
Yeah, The Love Buzz are this sicko new band you should really give a listen.
