Describe your style in three words?
Classic, Reissue, Modernist
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Adam & The Ants - Prince Charming
It was in my bedroom back in early 80's on my Mums Record player. Played it till it nearly died.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
The Jam - English Rose
One of the finest tracks from the best The Jam Album...just love the lyrics and passion that this song gives out, the key change is sublime.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Shed Seven - Return
So hard to pin this question to one song but I have come to this...played it at Rock City when Let it Ride came out and was just like marking the return of Shed Seven epic gig.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Curtis Lee - Is She In Your Town?
It just has to be my all time favourite Northen Soul track and from that 1st bass drum start I'm up like a rocket to glide the song away.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
The Ruffs - Alligator
Good friends of mine, Nottingham's finest band The Ruffs...great hooks and clever lyrics make this song awesome...go see them live as they never fail to smash it.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right
In fact any track off this classic debut album, slip it on, needle down and bang it upto 11!!!
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
The Jam - That's Entertainment
Just loved this song as soon as I 1st heard it, just has everything going off in it and just so well planned as it flows. Just to think that the demo was so good that Paul Weller just put it straight on the album.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb - 2011 Remastered Version
This track to me makes me think of going through lifes ups and downs....the sad times, numbness through loss, the happy times, come downs and lifts that just make life what it is.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Who - My Generation - Stereo Version
Just makes me feel like a teenager again, that angry and anarchic way it makes you feel making me want to just keep on going and just sticking 2 fingers up to the world.
