Describe your style in three words?
boyish, minimal, comfy.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Arctic Monkeys - 505
when I was in high school. In my room, on my way to school, basically everywhere I have ever been to.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Albert Hammond, Jr. - Rocky's Late Night
I love every single song in this album but this particular one brings back the memories of darker times and somehow makes me be grateful for those period of my life. I am much stronger now and I know I can do anything. I am grateful to AHJ for this record.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Arctic Monkeys - Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?
This was played in Rock'n Coke in 2013 two days before the release date. I was such a fangirl and had begged my parents to let me go to Istanbul. It was my first festival and a dreams-came-true situation, had a great time with my cousins. they never held that festival again.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Arcade Fire - Reflektor
This one is a masterpiece.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
The Strokes - Ode To The Mets
I am in love with this band and it scares the sh*t out of me that I will die before seeing them live or they suddenly decide to break up. With this record, I have realized how much I miss and adore them. after all, everybody just wants to be one of The Strokes, I guess.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Thirty Seconds To Mars - Night Of The Hunter
It brings out the arrogant person in me. I listen to this one when I need more confidence.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Yasemin Mori - Mutsuz Punk
This is the story of my life. This song a representation of the girl that lives deep inside me.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Interpol - NYC
Interpol 101. hurts so good.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space
Just listen. You'll see.
