Describe your style in three words?
Relaxed, Confused, Streetwear-ish.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Luther Vandross - Never Too Much
When I was a kid, my grandad would always play this album in his car without fail and of course, 'Never Too Much' was instantly my favourite.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
King Krule - Baby Blue
This album was the soundtrack to my two years in college, I would have to get a fairly long bus there and back every day and this album accompanied me most of the time. 'Baby Blue' was the track that started my affinity with Krule and I find it to be such a beautiful song.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Mac Miller - Best Day Ever
Mac is someone who means so much to me and I am always thankful that I got to see him live, 'Best Day Ever' was again the song that started my fandom so it was a particularly memorable moment. Rest In Peace Mac.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Curtis Mayfield - Move on Up - Extended Version
No explanation needed really, although for me it HAS to be the extended version; Seven minutes of pure groove.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Yves Tumor - Gospel For A New Century
Been following Yves Tumor for a couple years now and always thought he was really original in today's climate. His new album is brilliant and this song is the epitome of that plus it has a great song title, which I always appreciate. Yves Tumor is the modern day rock star.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Jamie T - Sticks 'N' Stones
A lot of contention for this one but it has to be this song. Back at small house parties in school me and my mates would always turn this one up as loud as possible, screaming our hearts out and clearing the party in the process.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Yellow Days - Gap in the Clouds
Guess this one says a lot about what you think of yourself and it's difficult not to lie. I chose this sing because it's a bit dreamy, a bit romantic and has undertones of both happiness and moodiness.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy - 2012 Mix/Master
Just a crazy song with so much going on, it makes you want to sing along at the top of your voice.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Tourist - Gin Under The Sink
Fell in love with this album and this song because of its simplicity and beauty. I really liked the concept of the album and it just being about everyday life and all the small details. It's a perfect wind-down, euphoric song.
