Describe your style in three words?

Pub golf chic.

The first track you played on repeat?

Lil' Chris - Checkin' It Out

This album was the first CD I ever picked out for myself, I bought it with my mum in a Woolworths store when I was around 8. I was obsessed with it. I remember getting told off for trying to sneakily listen to it with the volume right down when I was supposed to be asleep. Wild.

A song from your favorite album?

The Streets - Empty Cans

I remember the first time that I listened to this album like it was yesterday. At the time I'd never really heard anything like it and I was so in awe of the storytelling. This track is special to me because it wraps the album up and ties the loose ends of the story together.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm

I saw Arctic Monkeys at Earls Court in 2013, it was the first big gig I had been to and a night that I will remember forever. This song was one that I really wanted to be on the setlist and I wasn’t sure if they’d do it but when they did play it it was just pure magic.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go

This song can put me in an instant good mood, it’s super nostalgic for me and always makes me want to dance. I think if you listen to this song and it doesn’t make you want to get up and dance then you might actually be a little bit broken.

A new song you're listening to?

Kali Uchis - la luz(Fín)

I've been a huge fan of Kali’s for a long time, her 2015 'Por Vida' album is in my top 5 albums of all time. Her latest offering has quite a different vibe to all of her previous albums and it's just really nice to see the evolution of her sound over the years.

Best song to turn up loud?

Ja Rule - Put It On Me

This one is definitely best enjoyed as loud as possible, preferably in the sunshine, with a drink in your hand.

A song that defines the teenage you?

MARINA - Primadonna

Marina is a huge source of inspiration for me, particularly in her 'Electra Heart' era. The album is really explorative of feminine archetypes and identity. When this came out I was 15 and starting to think more about my own identity and her sound and look really resonated with me.

An anthemic song?

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

I guess the word anthemic can be perceived differently by different people, but this question immediately made me think about the songs you can just belt out with your mates where everyone just knows the words and this fits that perfectly for me.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Jamie xx - Far Nearer

When it’s the early hours of the morning and maybe you have a little bit more dancing left in you but you need something slightly easier on the ears this is my go-to choice.
