I'd heard other Prince tracks before and liked them but hearing this track got me hooked and ensured Purple Rain would be my favourite album.

Prince - Raspberry Beret

Hammersmith Apollo. Fifth and final time I saw Prince. The smallest, most intimate and in my view the best gig.

Dexys Midnight Runners - Geno - 2000 Remaster

This song sums up being a teenager during the electronic synth era. I was a bit too young for punk. Used to play this song so much when I first got a record player in my bedroom.

This song still gives goosebumps... Seen this performed live 5 times, each one different. Prince was a genius.
