Raf Simons adapts our most iconic designs, drawing on details from his own label. Inspired by the uniforms of ‘70s and ‘80s countercultures, Simons takes influence from the energy of youth at that time. For this collection, we work with the Museum of Youth Culture and the candid photography of George Plemper, a South London school teacher documenting working class Britain through the eyes of his students. His work centred around London’s new town of Thamesmead – a brutalist social housing estate – and the everyday occurrences of the kids that lived there. His photography is printed across classic Fred Perry silhouettes.
