We work with streetwear brand Thames on a cotton pique tennis skirt. Lined and pleated, the design allows for extra movement on (and off) the court. Finished with Laurel Wreath track tape at the sides and dual-branding embroidery.
Cotton pique with lining / Pleated A-line shape / Concealed zip at the back / Laurel Wreath track tape / Dual branding embroidery
Set up by South-London skater, designer and artist, Blondey McCoy, Thames is a tribute to British youth culture. Our collaboration merges together our world and theirs, treading the line between street-style and functioning sportswear. The all-white cotton tennis skirt first appeared in Fred Perry sportswear ads in the ‘60s, this version adopts the same tennis-white design. Inspired by ’90s streetwear, and P.E kits customised by schoolkids, Laurel Wreath track tape features at the sides. Classic sportswear meets nostalgic ‘90s streetwear.
