Name, where are you from?
Jeshi, East London.

Describe your style in three words?
Jackets and trackies.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Toro Y Moi just after 'Anything In Return' dropped.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
The Prodigy and Radiohead - weird mix hahaha.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
London is what influences me.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Amy Winehouse because she was too real and we’d have a laugh.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Can’t say I have one to be fair. Smaller the better.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Musicians ain’t hero’s.

Jeshi recently released his new single 'Hit By A Train'. Listen, purchase or stream it via jeshi.lnk.to/HBATYO.

The first track you played on repeat?
Probably 'Teenage Dirtbag' by Wheatus haha.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Pain Is The Essence' by Giggs and Dubz. Like most teenagers at that time here.

One record you would keep forever?
'Frank' by Amy Winehouse.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
Every lyric on 'Last Call' by Kanye West.

The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
'Do Fries Go With That Shake?' by George Clinton.

A song you wished you had written?
'It Could Be Sweet' by Portishead.

Best song to turn up loud?
'New Magic Wand' by Tyler, The Creator. Makes me want to break everything.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
Nobody excepts anybody to like Limp Bizkit. I f*cking love Limp Bizkit.

Best song to end an all-nighter on?
'Carbonated' by Mount Kimbie.

Any new music you are listening to right now?
'Sunglasses' by Black Country, New Road.
