Lost Tapes is a new band who -from the most absolute independence- got to see their songs included in different singles and compilations in international labels such as Candy Twist Records (Netherlands), EardrumsPop (Norway), Beko Disques (France), Cloudberry Records (USA), or Box Bedroom Rebels (UK).
Their clear international projection has led them to perform in venues and festivals in the UK, Germany, Denmark and the US (where they have played more than 20 shows, including festivals such as NYC Popfest, Slingshot in Athens or SXSW in Austin, TX). They have recorded a collaboration with Japanese band Wallflower, and one of their songs will be part of the soundtrack of the next movie by Sébastien Petretti in France. Next June they will release the album We thought it was ok at the time, which will include their best songs, with Shelflife (the label that discovered Radio Dept to the Americans).
Over the next months, they face the definitive expansion of their sound hand in hand with the producer Nacho Marco, with whom they'll record their first official album for the Spanish label Mushroom Pillow.
Nacho Marco, head of Loudeast Records, is a DJ and music producer with a long and significant career. He is very well-known in techno and house music, and his releases for world-wide labels have been a referent for Laurent Garnier, Faithless or Francois K.
