Introduce yourself
I am Im Jungin and I am a model. I live in Seoul.

Describe your style in three words?
Simple. Adventurous. Active.

What inspires your work?
Music, Films, Communication with people.

Where is your favourite Independent venue in Seoul?
I don’t know much about independent venues in Seoul. But there is this one place called bar302. It’s a wine bar I used to work for. One day, there was a customer who played her guitar spontaneously. Everyone in the bar was enjoying the music. I still remember that moment.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Punk.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
My grandmother’s Janggu performance.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I want to spend time with my parents when they were younger.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
O.O.O.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
'Suddenly' by Hoksimolla. When I was reading a book in a café, I heard this song. I stopped reading and kept listening to this song.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'This Is Me' by Kesha. When I cared too much about what people were thinking and saying, it helped me to hold on to myself.

One record you would keep forever?
'Team Baby' by The Black Skirts. It never gets boring to listen to all tracks on this album.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
'Snail' by Panic.

A song you wished you had written?
'Baby Shark' by Pinkfong. Everyone knows this song and it’s so easy to sing.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Can’t Give You Anything' by The Stylistics. You will sing along when you listen to the chorus.

A song to get you straight on the dance floor?
'Aqualand' by Polo & Pan. I can imagine myself dancing to this song on the beach.

Best song to end an all-nighter?
'10 Years Ago' by FKJ. Drinking wine and zoning out with this on while the sun comes up.

Any new bands you’re into at the moment?
FKJ. I admire him as he plays lots of instruments so well.

Best song to bring people together?
'Jingle Bells'.

The greatest love song of all time?
'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri. From the 'Twilight' soundtrack. I think It’s one of the most romantic songs.
