03Interview

Name, where are you from?
Chang Hung Chi (Jean Chang), Taiwan.

What do you do?
I’m a model and also an artist.

Describe your style in three words?
Simple Chill but Gemini.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
In my life, I've only been to three for now.
1. Maksim Mrvica.
2. Armin van Buuren.
3. Wu-Tang clan.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I love art and basketball. In art my mentor is Michelangelo. In basketball, it's definitely Kobe Bryant.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Kobe Bryant. First of all, I love basketball, ball is my life, since I was a kid. I'm really into Kobe's mentality and I look up to how he makes himself so successful.

Where is your favourite independent venue in Italy?
I still need to discover these. ;)

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
For me, music is a way to relax myself and put me in a chill mood, so I listen to different kinds of music depending on the situation.. basically, I appreciate everyone who can make music. If I have to choose an unsung hero I'd say MorMor because his music makes me feel at ease in every kind of circumstance.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
Actually, I don’t remember.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'爸我回來了 (Dad, I’m Back)' by Jay Chou.

One record you would keep forever?
'Fantasy' By Jay Chou (2001).

A song lyric that has inspired you?
'簡單愛 (Simple Love)' by Jay Chou – this song, as you can see from the title, talks about simple love... which is the kind of love I've always been looking for. We all know that life isn't simple and people are complicated... our personalities keep on changing and evolving. But if we throwback to the beginning we are all independent individuals making our own choices for the future... my choice is to keep being simple and finding happiness in simple things.

A song you wished you had written?
The only song I wish I had written is the one that comes from me. ;)

Best song to turn up loud?
'Butt Muscle' by Christeene.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Opera2' by Vitas.

A song to get you straight on the dance floor?
I can dance to any kind of music if I'm in the mood, but there's not yet one that makes me go straight to the dance floor... I guess I'm not much of a dancer.

Best song to end an all-nighter?
'Find Colour' by MorMor.

An Italian Band you would recommend and your favourite track?
I don't know much of Italian music, but there’s one song which I learned... and that is 'Stessa Spiaggia Stesso Mare' by Piero Focaccia.
