Bridlington Scooter Rally

An evening of bands at The Priory, Bridlington

Thursday 26th October 2017

Ethan of The Strawberries who play at The Priory on Saturday 28th October.

To mark the last big meeting on the British Scooter Rallies Association's 2017 calendar, in Bridlington this weekend, our friends at The Priory will be playing host to some excellent bands.

The rally taking place from 27-29 October will be the last opportunity for serious scooter enthusiasts to sign on and promises to be a great weekend, made better by some great music on Saturday at The Priory, Bridlington's menswear shop with its own bar and cafe.

The Strawberries
Leeds outfit, The Strawberries are fast becoming one of the most sought-after bands in their field with their blend of bluesy psychedelic indie rock 'n' roll. They have supported the likes of YAK, The Vyrll Society and Blossoms and were also chosen for the This Feeling stage at Leeds Festival in 2016. A tour followed with the band selling out venues in the North. With their contemporary interpretation of a 1960s vibe, The Strawberries are an ideal choice for the bill.

Capital Eye
A Bridlington indie rock band who list staples such as The Smiths, Oasis and The Libertines as influences, past outings for Capital Eye include support slots for The Pigeon Detectives.

Nick Tudor
Another Bridlington artist, Nick Tudor is a singer-songwriter/guitarist who wears his Johnny Marr influences on his sleeve. Nick Tudor also sings with his band Page 45. Nick has supported highly esteemed artists that include John Power (Cast, The La's). Check out his 'Idle Hands and Idle Minds' EP below.

Luke Sharples
Luke has played all over the country for the past seven years as a solo singer-songwriter. British Sea Power, CAST, Chris Helme (The Seahorses), even Big Country, Luke has also supported some big names.

Sam Trueman
A former member of the recently split Driffield indie band Vague; Sam Trueman is now in the early stages of setting out as a solo performer. For an idea of what to expect, listen to Vague's 'Bored' below.
