'Smells Like Teen Spirit' is a four-part documentary series exploring the evolution of music tribes in Ireland over the last sixty years. From Teddy Boys to Punks, New Romantics to Emo's - we talk to musicians, authors and the people who were there. Made by Shane Galvin for Dublin-based radio station Phantom, the series includes commentary on a wide range of subcultures including Teddy Boys, Rockers, Mods, Hippies, Skinheads, Punks, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, New Romantics, Goths, Metallers, B-boys/Hip-Hop, Ravers, Grungers, Emos and Hipsters.
