Fred Perry is sponsoring For The Record, An Installation / Exhibition of 7 inch Record Cover Art Celebrating Music, Design DIY and Independent Culture - showcasing a selection of 400 record sleeves.
To mark the opening of the exhibition at Rough Trade Nottingham, there will be a special launch event in the Fred Perry Nottingham shop on Friday 13th February. New Street Adventure (Acid Jazz records) will perform an acoustic set in-store from 5-6pm, and there will also be a small preview of the exhibition in the Nottingham shop, containing 40 record covers which will be rotated daily over the coming month.
Drinks, dancing, music and FREE ENTRY!
The exhibition will then officially open with a Heavenly Recordings event at Rough Trade Nottingham, featuring Duke Garwood.
Later in the month, on Saturday 21st February, there will also be an afternoon DJ set from Gringo Records at 3pm, in-store at Fred Perry Nottingham, followed by drinks and a talk on vinyl from Travis Elborough.
