Brooklyn-based synth-pop outfit Neon Indian will be releasing a limited edition 7” in advance of their new album, "Era Extraña", which drops on September 13th. The single ("Polish Girl"/"Fallout") will only be available at independent record stores in the states on August 23rd and will retail for $2US.
Both “Polish Girl” and “Fallout” are currently streaming on Neon Indian’s official Website. The former marries a New Romantic vocal to analog synths and a techno beat, while the latter mines darker sonic territory, sounding more than a bit chilling.
One of the retailers carrying the single, Other Music in NYC, will host a DJ set by Neon Indian band leader Alan Palomo the day that Era Extraña hits shelves, and Neon Indian will then embark on a three month North American tour that will begin at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia and wrap up in Miami.
