Much alike many rock acts the members of Stockholm based Side Effects have employed the classic line up of guitar, bass, keys and drums. Where the four piece founded in 2009 strays away from their peers is the fact that three of the members take turns at lead vocals. The members are between the ages of 19 and 20 but have already charmed audiences and musical colleagues alike. They met up at school and quickly started putting on their own shows. The Soundtrack of Our Lives frontman Ebbot Lundberg saw one of those early shows and was so impressed that he asked them to back him on some solo stints - saying that side effects were "one of Sweden's och perhaps the world's most promising bands"- side effects guitarist Billy Cervin has even jumped in covering live for The Soundtrack of Our Lives guitarist Ian Person at times.
Tame Impala, Dungen and of course The Sound track of Our Lives are all big influences on the band - but equally Air, Doves and Brian Jonestown Massacre are also clear favourites.
In 2011 the band released an EP called "Feel Flows" and on the bands website on could read a cryptic message that an album was in the making. Now in the fall of 2013 the album which has been produced by Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm of The Soundtrack of Our Lives is set for release.
