Eyre Llew

Ambient Post-Rock trio from Nottingham

Friday 22nd April 2016

Eyre Llew are Jack Bennett, Jack Clark and Samuel Heaton, an ambient post-rock 3-piece from Nottingham, that have already released 8 singles despite only forming in mid 2014.

They met in May 2014 at a rehearsal studio, for the previous half a decade all memebers had been collaborating with other artists and part of other projects. They formed Eyre Llew a couple of months later in August so they could write music that they collectively love.

Eyre Llew create emotionally charged, atmospheric ambient soundscapes that evoke the likes of Explosions In The Sky, and to a lesser extent Boards Of Canada or even Mogwai.

They are currently behind closed doors writing their debut album but they have a string of festival appearances lined where they will be showcasing new material - including a slot at Dot to Dot 2016.

Check out the video for their latest single 'The Deep' below. Directed by Dominic Stables.
