Johnny Lloyd.

Where are you from?

What do you do?
I write songs for myself and occasionally for other people.

Describe your style in three words?
Rough, round, edges.

If you could make a record with anyone from history?
Jimmy Page. 'Ramble On' by Zeppelin is my earliest memory.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Pavement at Brixton. 'Range Life' was incredible that night.

What British music icons inspire your sound today?
The Stones, 'Love in Vain'.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I'd spend it with Bob Dylan. He's had a huge influence on my life and most of the people I know.

Which British subculture means the most to you?
I think probably punk. The Clash in particular.

If you could share the bill with any British band in history?
The Faces... 'Stay With Me'.

What music did you listen to growing up?
70s rock and roll was pretty much all my Dad let in the house. Velvet Underground were my earliest favourites... 'Sunday Morning'.
