Name, where are you from?
Peeping Drexels aka The Sneak Mob, Born and bred in the heart of South East London.
Describe your style in three words?
Crack head swag.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Twin Peaks at The Engine Rooms in Bow, back in 2014 or something. That was mad. Do we have to nominate a track of theirs? We don't really like them anymore, but that gig was like a fucking house party, never been to something like that. 'Natural Villain' is still a banger.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
GG Allin and King Tubby. The mix of filth and chill would be unbelievable and 'Bite It, You Scum' by GG would blow the roof off before everyone sparks up for Tubbys 'Move Out of Babylon Dub'.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
The Crunk movement.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
A quick mashup with Hunter S. Thompson is the stuff of dreams.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Undoubtedly The Windmill Brixton, where else?
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
D Double E. The man pioneered grime and has never got the credit he deserves. 'Thuggish Ruggish' and the whole of the 'On Tha Double' mixtape is essential listening.
Peeping Drexels hail from South London, drawing comparisons to the like of The Fall and Fat White Family among other exponents of London's current post-punk movement.
