2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the formation of The Specials and the legendary 2-Tone label. It also marks ten years since the band's acclaimed reformation and the numerous world tours that have followed.
Last year the band announced that they would be releasing 'Encore' in 2019, their first new recordings since 1981's iconic 'Ghost Town'. Already drawing widespread critical acclaim, the highly anticipated new album will be released on 1st February 2019.
This gig will mark the live debut of tracks from this new album at London's most iconic independent venue, The 100 Club, as part of this unique SubcultureLive gig. The band will also perform their seminal hits as part of the show.
