What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Flying Lotus. Visceral sounds and visceral visuals. Made 4000 people convulse in sync.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
After My Bloody Valentine, before Aphex Twin. Bridging the gap between guitar-based walls of sound and glitchy electronics.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Experimental electronics. Club music. Genres that fully embrace new technology.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
SOPHIE.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Little Buildings in Newcastle. 50 cap brick-walled room, North of England in the middle of December.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
A Frames.
