Name, where are you from?
Jack Saunders, Essex.

Describe your style in three words?
Grunge, punk, skate.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
I've done so many, it's a different answer every time. For this one, Royal Blood at The Cookie in Leicester. 100 people going absolutely wild to now one of the biggest bands in the country.

If you could put any three artists in history on a line up?
Nirvana. Arctic Monkeys. Frank Ocean. Nirvana are the band I would have most liked to see live that I never will, Arctic Monkeys are my favourite band of all time and Frank Ocean because he is such an enigma and a total hip-hop and R&B visionary.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Punk. Skate. Slacker. E-boy. I love the rebellion of it all. Walking down my local high street in a leather jacket, big black boots and pink hair is a thrill and totally rock n roll compared to the turned up chinos and muscle tight shirts. I love being different. Having an identity and standing for it is what gives me life!

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Kurt Cobain - very few have had such a clear cut understanding of what it means to be young and different, and on top of that able to communicate it in such an evocative and emotional way.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Sebright Arms. It's where some of my best Hopscotch nights have been held. Each night three of the best up and coming and a secret headliner perform. The Vaccines, Blossoms, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Miles Kane and more have all had secret sets there. Even at the back you can't escape the carnage.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
SOPHIE. A subculture in themselves. Their influence on pop music is extensive without even having the proper recognition. Their passing is utterly tragic. SOPHIE had so much more musical innovation to offer the world. Their soul lives on in the influence.
