Name, where are you from?
Tariq Disu. Nigeria, Ghana & London.

Describe your style in three words?
Authentic, clean and eclectic.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Smino at Brixton Electric. He sounded even better live and I already enjoy his output very much.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
So much choice but… 1500 or Nothin’ even though their more of a musical ensemble what they provide sonically is undeniable. They really compliment the artists they create/work for/with. And Gorillaz,I’ve always had a love for them before I even felt I got the whole thing & still discovering more things about them to love. The characters are timeless. The oneness of art & music is something I appreciate.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I think they all have one way or another.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Dave Chappelle. I would sit and talk with him. I would sit and talk with him for a while.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
I don’t have one yet.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Myself. I’m turning that around as I answer these questions though.
