A Tribute to John "Brad" Bradbury

A charity event in honour of The Specials' drummer

Wednesday 10th February 2016

Following the sad loss of core member, and drummer of The Specials, John "Brad" Bradbury, late last year, a tribute night has been announced later this month.

John "Brad" Bradbury's Tribute Birthday Night will take place on Tuesday 16th February 2016 (7:30pm), at Dingwalls, Middle Yard, Camden Lock, London (NW1 8AB).

The event will feature some very 'special' guests and DJs.

All proceeds will go to Nordoff Robbins - a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults, and the UK's leading provider of music therapy services.

John Bradbury is widely regarded as one of the central figures and creators of the Two Tone sound, also drumming briefly for The Selecter before joining The Specials. His combination of reggae drumming and punk energy led his bandmate Horace Panter to label Brad's style "Attack Drumming". In recent years, John Bradbury was part of the successful reformation of The Specials and also fronted his band, the JB Allstars.
