San Francisco psych-punks

Wednesday 24th June 2015

San Francisco's psych-punks, bAd bAd have dropped a music video for the track "DUMPS," which appears on the recent album Waterboredom (released via Grabbing Clouds Records and Tapes).

Comprised of Christian Zamora (drummer for The Strange Land), Eli Maness and Jordan Arthur, bAd bAd takes its musical cues from surf rock, Spaghetti Western themes, garage rock, hardcore and Turkish music. The band was founded in 2012 and its previous releases include this year’s “Snakes” b/w “No Chutes” single and the 2014 track “I Don’t Use Gel I Don’t Use Mousse.”

The video pairs the lo-fi “DUMPS” with surprisingly hi-def images of various band members and bohemian types edited into a stop-motion daydream populated by inflated balloons, helpful mailboxes, hipsters emerging from garbage bins, boys in dresses, a street-ready mattress and someone vomiting confetti.

Waterboredom track list: ?

1. Strut?
2. gUn gOld?
3. Metal Face?
5. Untitled?
6. Everybody

bAd bAd will share a bill with CRC Headcleaner and Ubu Roi at San Francisco’s Hemlock Tavern on 1 July.
