Philadelphia rockers Bleeding Rainbow have Nirvana's Novoselic and Grohl as fans and have received critical acclaim from Pitchfork, MOJO and Stereogum. Today, they release their UK debut album Interrupt via Kanine Records on 24 February 2014. The record features Robi Gonzalez of A Place To Bury Strangers on drums and it was produced by Kyle 'Slick' Johnson whose credits include Wavves, The Hives and Cymbals Eat Guitars.
Bleeding Rainbows recently shared new track "Images" where they said it ''has a bit more of a snarl to it, showcasing the band's harder edge that occasionally rears its head'.
The video for their previous release 'So You Know' was directed by Japhy Riddle, and can be viewed below. Clearly influenced by alt rockers Sonic Youth and 90s shoegazers My Bloody Valentine, 'So You Know' is an atmospheric adventure with rolling raw guitars driving crashing chord changes, against the fetching, mournful vocals of front-lady Sarah Everton.
Bleeding Rainbow are Sarah Everton (vocals, guitar and bass), Rob Garcia (vocals, bass and guitar), Al Creedon (guitar) and are joined live by Ashley Arnwine (drums). Their debut album 'Interrupt' is available to purchase now here.
