Crosa Rosa

Nottingham's blistering psych-grungers

Monday 9th May 2016

Nottingham based 3-peice Crosa Rosa are Joe Weatherall (Guitar/Vocals), Joe Fisher (Bass) and Kegan Clarke (Drums). A band we eyed on our New Noise 2016 blog and you can catch them playing at Dot To Dot this year.

A band we described as "one for fans of The Wytches, Nottingham based trio Crosa Rosa play a culmination of Garage, Psych & Grunge, making music that is simultaneously blistering, loud and melodic. Enrapturing stuff."

Their stripped back sound has it's roots firmly in garage, the scuzzy guitars remain effortlessy melodic except when they descend into chaos, a trait that has them gaining a reputation for their breathtaking live shows.

2015 saw them release their debut EP Pantophobia, which gained fans and radio play off the likes of Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq. Which itself led to an acclaimed performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds festival.
