Luv Luv Luv Records is a London-based label dedicated to finding and nurturing new talent.

It’s the luv-child of Mairead Nash, one half of legendary DJ duo Queens of Noize and one of the most influential promoters on the London Scene. Born in 2009, Luv Luv Luv is an infant label with a decidedly adolescent outlook: “It’s all about bringing the new music we love to the teenagers in the clubs” says Nash; “That’s the most important thing for me. If the kids who are dancing and snogging approve of what we’re doing, then I know that we’re definitely doing something right.”

After years of staging innumerable gigs and club nights that featured copious snogging and dancing, Nash has taken her street-level knowledge of the industry and translated it into a hugely successful management career. She discovered the international superstar Florence + The Machine and has worked tirelessly to create long-term success for her the world over. Nash is a firm believer in dedicating time to artist development, and Florence’s steady ascent to global renown stands as a testament to the acumen of this approach.

Luv Luv Luv is currently working with a unique roster of exciting talent from all over the globe, from red-hot London acts Babeshadow to Paris’s painfully cool Koudlam and San Francisco’s American-dreamy Hanni El Khatib. “Overnight success is a nice idea but I don’t think it really pays off in the long run” says Nash. “I’m more interested in nurturing talent; making sure an act is really ready before they try and take over the world.”

With new signings continually in her sights and plans to expand the business to the US, taking over the world is starting to look eminently possible for Nash and her teen-dreamy label. With a little time and whole lotta Luv, they’ve learned, anything is possible.

“Luv Luv Luv Records know what’s important: luv and dancing. That’s why, when the rest of London are listening to reverb and tweaking to DIY goth records, Luv Luv Luv are putting out records for pretty teenagers to fall in love to and sad ones to vogue to.” VICE Magazine
