Pete Doherty's new band will release their eponymously titled debut album 'Pete Doherty & The Puta Madres' on Friday 26th April 2019. Released via Strap Originals/Cargo Records it will be available on Vinyl, Cassette and CD. With additional Deluxe CD and Vinyl versions available that include an additional live album and a film.

The album promises to be 'a devastatingly intimate portrait of love, loss, being lost, happiness, tragedy, addiction and the power of the human soul to transcend its darker levels.' Listen to lead single 'Who's Been Having You Over' below.

The Puta Madres includes Jack Jones (lead guitar), who is also the frontman for SubcultureLive alumni Trampolene, who supported Buzzcocks in 2015. The band also consists of Peter Doherty (Vocals/Guitar), Miggles (bass), Miki Beavis (violin), Katia DeVidas (Piano/keyboards) and Rafa (drums).

All the tracks on 'Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres' were recorded live at a family home overlooking a fishing village in Normandy over four days in the Summer of 2017 to 'capture the essence and spirit of The Puta Madres'. The tracks have also all been road-tested over the past couple of years while the band have been out touring across Europe, South America and most recently a run of UK dates in February 2019.
