Sea Pinks

Belfast trio release new album 'Soft Days'

Thursday 7th January 2016

Describing themselves as 'A band from Belfast inspired by sea glass, bleached grass and ghost guitars', Sea Pinks are a quietly eclectic indie three-piece comprised of Neil Brogan (ex-Girls Names, CRUISING) on guitar and vocals, Steven Henry (Documenta) on bass and Davey Agnew (Newton Forest FC) on drums.

Their album 'Soft Days' is set for release on 8th January with new single 'Yr Horoscope' already available to sample. Listen to the lively, charming, rockin' rollin' track below.

Plaudits for the album include Q, Clash, London in Stereo, Louder Than War and Uncut, the latter stating it as "Terrific... sounds a lot like My Morning Jacket covering The Smiths."

Now settling into formation as a proper three-piece line up, 'Soft Days' is the band’s second full length studio record, following on from 2014’s 'Dreaming Tracks' and three previous DIY albums on which Brogan played virtually everything himself. You can watch another track from the new album, the much more jangly, indie guitar driven 'Depth Of Field' along with its suitably oil lamp projector lit video, below.
