Swim Deep

A new album from the ambassadors of feel good

Thursday 8th October 2015

Recorded at the tail-end of 2014 in Brussels and London with producer Dreamtrak, Birmingham feel-good band Swim Deep releaed new album Mothers on 2nd October on Chess Club / RCA Victor. The eleven track album nods to late eightes Manchester and flirts with blissful psychedlic pop that strides into an all embracing sea of euphoria, and includes two acclaimed singles, ‘One Great Song And I Could Change The World’ and ‘To My Brother’, as well as 8minute, acid house inspired and album closer, 'Fueiho Boogie'.

The album sees the band revitalised from a self imposed hiatus and a marked departure from their debut, ‘Where The Heaven Are We’ in 2013, an exclusive live version of the title track performed at Dot to Dot Festival, you can view below.

Now a fully fledged five-piece with the addition of multi-instrumentalist James Balmont, Mothers was marked by a major Autumn tour, culminating in their biggest London show to date at Camden’s Roundhouse.
