Name, where are you from?
The Skinner Brothers, London.
What do you do?
We’re 4 brothers who play music in a band in London. We dress smart, play hard and know our way around a good tune.
Describe your style in three words?
Suited, booted, prepared.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Any KISS show would always win the award for best show ever.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Santana and Sly and The Family Stone at Woodstock 69’.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
I wouldn’t say we are influenced heavily by a single subculture. We look up to anyone who made it from the bottom to the top!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack, we’d drink whiskey and talk business with the boss.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
The first show we ever played at the Rock and Roll Rescue in Camden. It was our first ever show, and although it all ended in a big fight and then casualty, it was good fun.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
We live with Patrick Lyons in his flat in Peckham. He has got to be the most underrated modern icon in the art world. Everyone knows him, even YOU!
