Trampolene first blew us away with their top track 'Alcohol Kiss' and its raw indie-Britrock and rock 'n roll swagger, comparable to bands such as Wolfmother and Band of Skulls. However, further listening to the Welsh trio's releases so far, takes us on a musical journey far more wide-ranging and encompassing, with 'Newcastle Brown Love Song' a touching, stripped-down, piano-backed ballad and alluring, layered vocals, as well as 'Artwork of Youth', a spoken word piece about coming of age, then the crazy scuzzy-rhythm 'n blues tune 'Camden Mannequins', and 'You do Nothing for Me' which could be a mixture of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Oasis.
Fred Perry Subculture is now very excited to present the premiere of Trampolene's brand new track 'Imagine Something Yesterday', which continues to express the band's brilliant songcraftmanship, with a more Britpop sensibility; less rock 'n roll, more sophisticated indierock. Enjoy....
'Imagine Something Yesterday' is released with the expanded digital Pocket Album Two through Mi7 Records on Monday 16th March. It was recorded at RAK, Pyramid & Konk Studios, produced by Barker, Amachi & Josh Green and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (The Horrors / Jamie T). All other songs were recorded live at Konk Studios and produced by Trampolene & Josh Green. 'Imagine Something Yesterday' is available on limited edition 7” vinyl as well as digital download.
