Name, where are you from?
Ryan, Hull.

Describe your style in three words?
Plastic, Nauseous, Poor.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Radiohead on The Pyramid, Glastonbury, 2017. A £240 well spent. My friend also proposed to his girlfriend during Daydreaming.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Suicide and Sonic Youth.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I guess it's a counterculture, but the Beat Generation opened me up to different writers. Naturally, becoming fascinated with the likes of Burroughs and everything they offered.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Howard Marks. I'd ask him all I need to know. Rather appropriately, I finished his Autobiography on a recent trip to Amsterdam.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
The Adelphi in Hull holds a very special place in my heart. It's a place that me and my friends grew up, and still do. As soon as you're under the mouldy roof you're immediately transported into some bohemian greenhouse, where the outsiders are welcomed with open arms.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Rowland S. Howard. An Artist, Poet, and everything in-between. I initially discovered The Birthday Party and was compelled to carry on listening when I first heard She's Hit. He had an ability to construct this harsh tone that left you feeling fatigued. He's also an incredible lyricist and has had a substantial influence on our band.
