Name, where are you from?
My name is Anton, I am from Kamchatka.

What do you do?
Write songs and melodies.

Describe your style in three words?
Casual, modern, black.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Slayer. That was in Helsinki. A festival on a beach with a terrible rain. Almost raining blood.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I like modern street culture as much as classic British style.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Would love to spend time and speak with Pedro Winter.

Of all the independent venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Platforma in Vilnius. The most DIY and all-friendly place I’ve ever been and played at.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Without any doubts Patrik Fitzgerald. The true genius.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
'Paranoid' by Black Sabbath. This one is a pure classic! One of the best song ever made on Earth.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Jennifer Lost The War' by The Offspring. The first album by The Offspring was so good for me as a teenager. Very rebel, much punk, so aggressive. All you need when you are 16.

One record you would keep forever?
'Little Dark Age' by MGMT. This MGMT’s album is one of my favs of all time. Very modern, very adult, very underrated.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
'Space Oddity' by David Bowie. You know.

The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
'No Solution / No Control' by The Casualties. When life seems to be bad and unfair this one will cheer you up!

A song you wished you had written?
'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen. Who doesn’t?

Best song to turn up loud?
'Rella' by Odd Future. Old but gold. Tyler's gang always do it right.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Head Huncho' by Azizi Gibson. I really dig Azizi’s rhythm and flow.

Best song to end an all-nighter?
'Heroes' by David Bowie. Nothing to say just try.

Any new bands you are into at the moment?
'Parasite' by Anatomy. Anatomy is a great post-something band, super in love with them.
