Name, where are you from?
Carter O’Sullivan – South East London

What do you do?
I am currently studying Illustration at Norwich University of the Arts about to start my final year.

Describe your style in three words: 
Fred F*cking Perry.

A British icon or band who inspire your sound?
Oasis (just look at my hair).

What has been your all-time favourite gig?
Arctic Monkeys at the Royal Albert Hall as it was the first time I ever saw them live and it sparked my obsession with them as my favourite band of all time.

04Playlist Notes

First song you played on repeat?
The first song I played on repeat was 'Crazy' by Gnarls Barkley. This song was everywhere around at the time I got my first iPod and was constantly on repeat.

Which music defines the teenage you?
My teenage years when I was trying to be ‘emo’, I listened to Fall Out Boy, You Me At Six, Green Day you name it I loved it but grew out of it quickly.

A song from your favourite album?
'A Certain Romance' from 'What Every People Say I am, That’s What I’m Not'. (Also I have that song tattooed on my ankles.)

A song you wish you’d written?
'Out Getting Ribs' by King Krule.

What is the last piece of music you bought?
The last physical piece I bought was ‘For Crying Out Loud’ by Kasabian but I recently had my birthday and was gifted the new Gorillaz album on vinyl which is sick.

Most meaningful lyrics to inspire change?
'Changes' by David Bowie.

Best song to bring people together?
'Gold Digger' by Kanye West, no matter who you are, what you’re into, when this song comes on everyone goes mad.

Best love song of all time?
'Don’t Let Me Down' by The Beatles.

Is there a song you like that people wouldn’t expect?
'Man Don’t Care' by Giggs x JME. Grime is the new punk music. Grime is saying what bands won’t say anymore.

What new music/bands are you listening to?
Cosmo Pyke, he’s honestly so sick. I’ve seen him live a few times, once at 100 Club and once at Bussey Building.
