Describe your style in three words?

cool babysitter chic.

The first track you played on repeat?

The Cheetah Girls - Cheetah Sisters

I remember when this movie came out me and my childhood best friend were obsessed with it. We would sing and dance along to the soundtrack every single day.

A song from your favorite album?

The Strokes - Evening Sun

Favorite song, favorite band, from my favorite album. Evening Sun is one of those songs where I can be feeling happy, hopeful or just awful and this song will come on shuffle & I know everything will be okay. I've definitely cried on multiple occasions listening to this song.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Cheated Hearts

Gov Ball 2018 I saw the YYYs with my best friend at barricade. During Cheated Hearts Karen O came down to the barricade and let people sing into the mic and I didn't think she would make it to me but she did and it was one of the greatest moments of my life. Absolute icons.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Dexys Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen

Pretty self explanatory. This song can get anyone up and dancing.

A new song you're listening to?

Beach Bunny - Painkiller

There are so many great artists from Chicago and Beach Bunny is one of my new favorites! The best way i can describe her music is sad music you dance your heart out too. About halfway through the song the tone completely shifts and it's just brilliant.

Best song to turn up loud?

Post Animal - Gelatin Mode

Specifically from 3:51 and on this song MUST be played at full volume. I don't make the rules, sorry.

A song that defines the teenage you?

One Direction - Happily

One Direction are the reason I love music as much as I do now. I will never forget seeing them perform this live and how truly happy I felt in that moment. It made me want to feel that way all the time, and that's when I started to find more music and go to more gigs.

An anthemic song?

Wolf Alice - Space & Time

Everything about this song is powerful. The lyrics "hope my body gets better, do I mean my body and my mind?" especially resonate with me. This song reminds me that things can get better no matter how anxious I may be feeling.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

MGMT - Me and Michael

This song means so much to me and my friends. We all live across the US so we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of the most perfect weekend we all spent together in Chicago last summer.
