Classic, comfortable, clean.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Chase and Status performing their 'No More Idols' album at V Festival 2011.

If you could put any three bands in history on a line up?
Otis Redding, B.B. King and 2pac.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Blues, rhythm & blues, soul, jazz, hip-hop, grime, drum & bass, garage.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Malcolm X.

Where is your favourite independent venue?
2000-year-old Roman Amphitheatre, Outlook festival, Croatia.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Nina Simone. She was such a brave strong character, not afraid to talk about her truths regardless of where she was performing and the people she was performing in front of. Due to this time in history, a lot of these truths not only empowered black people but empowered women… black women in particular.
