03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Classic, quirky, cool

The first track you played on repeat?

Grimes - Oblivion

Lately I’ve had this on repeat when I get up and ready in the morning. Just a kinda moving, on-a-mission kinda song.

A song from your favorite album?

King Krule - Dum Surfer

Thought this was a brilliant album! I could of chosen all the songs, so I just picked this. The whole album is worth a listen 100%

A song from your most memorable gig?

Puma Blue - Moon Undah Water

This gig was actually at a Fred Perry event at the 100 Club. Always wanted to see Puma Blue live since I started listening to his music. It’s not the most memorable gig, but definitely up there.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Tom Tom Club - Genius Of Love

Suuuuuch a funky rhythm the whole synth going on to is great for a lil dance!

A new song you're listening to?

The Velvet Underground - Who Loves The Sun - 2015 Remastered

Just recently gotten properly into The Velvet Underground. I didn’t really give them much of a chance to begin with, but I’m 100% obsessed with them now!

Best song to turn up loud?

Nirvana - Aneurysm - 1992/Live at Reading

Always listen to it in my room or when I’m hanging with my boyfriend. Can just go crazy to this song. Recently been listening to Nirvana a lot.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Current Joys - Kids

It’s really in the title. This just makes me think of things I do like hanging with friends, playing guitar, doing dumb things etc. It’s one of those sad/happy songs.

An anthemic song?

David Bowie - Lady Stardust - 2012 Remastered Version

Idek why but I just think of me and my friend belting this out at random moments. Just a great song like the rest of Bowie’s music.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Jack Kilmer - T.M.

You kinda wind it down after a night out. Just take time to chill - relaxxxx. This kinda just softly puts me to sleep.
