False Heads

Debut UK Headline Tour

Thursday 23rd February 2017

False Heads were one of the most promising and exciting guitar bands to emerge towards the end of 2016 when they managed to win over Iggy Pop as a fan, the iconic Stooges singer stating “These kids make a lot of noise, I like it”. They also made it onto our British New Wave 2017 list at the beginning of this year, alongside other guitar bands leading the current indie revolution.

To emphasise their intention to make 2017 their year, the East London three-piece have announced a UK tour, which will include an EP launch night at London's Nambucca with John Hassall of The Libertines.

Signed to Gary Powell's 25 Hour Convenience Store, the band release their EP 'Gutter Press' on 10th March, via the Libertines drummer's acclaimed label. Recorded at Pete Townsend's studio, you can check out the lead track below.
