Hidden Charms are riding a wave following the release of their debut track ‘Sunnyside’.
In a very short space of time the London 4-piece have carved a name for themselves. Since their first ever gig in April 2014, the band have been touring the UK alongside Benjamin Booker, Kongos, Razorlight, July Talk, and have been stateside recording. Having only put one track up online, the guys have had from airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and XFM, as well as critical acclaim online.
Produced by Nick Waterhouse at Sound City Studios, 'It's Time' is a modern take on a classic sound. With infectious rhythm, catchy melodic hooks and their vibrant energy, the band’s track showcases their musicianship especially live. "Its Time was the result of working with Nick Waterhouse a year ago at Sound City" say the band. "We recorded the song with Nick in a day, it was very spontaneous, we didn't think about it too much. Its a song about anticipation, waiting for something to happen. I think when your in a band you don't always have a lot of control over where your heading and most of the time that's the situation you find yourself in...waiting.
Currently going back into the studio with Shel Talmy (responsible for tracks such as The Who’s “My Generation” and The Kinks’ “You Really Got Me”), with lots of tour dates in the pipeline and some exciting news soon to be announced, the band have got it all going for them.
