Murmurs of something new for those that subscribe to Razorlight and their new-wave revivalist peers. Mademoiselle Mademoiselle infuse their contact-print-memory of new-wave with a little (but not too much) of the tropical flavour that has become prevalent in much of the UK's guitar music of late. Distinctly London, Pop and proud, Mademoiselle Mademoiselle are perhaps best introduced via their wonderfully Bondish named track "Moonraker".
It's an indie disco floor-filler, if ever we heard one, and probably the best modern use of bird song as an instrument, unless our ears deceive us, we can think of. Either way, the production is pretty spotless.
