Name, where are you from?
Artemis Günebakanlı, Istanbul.

What do you do?
I’m a radio host and music writer among many other things.

Describe your style in 3 words?
Comfy, warm, simple.

What British music icons inspire you today?
Damon Albarn, Robert Smith, David Bowie.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Mostly punk, mod, Britpop, grunge, shoegaze and post-punk.

What music defines the teenage you?
A mixture of Radiohead, The Prodigy and Blur.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
This is hard to answer but I could say Dave Gahan for surviving hard times while kicking it on stage and still keeping up the awesome work.

You can make a record with anyone from history?
Although I’m not a musician, I would love to come together and create something with Damon Albarn. He’s versatile, creative and seems to be full of exciting ideas.

You can spend an hour with anyone from history?
Probably Jim Jarmusch. Because his films make me feel at home and less awkward. He also has great taste in music.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Blur, Sziget Festival 2013.
