Returns Procedure

At Fred Perry we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may wish to change your mind.

If you need to return an unused item you can do so within 28 days after delivery, for an exchange or refund as required. We will refund the monetary value of the items returned to us, at the price you purchased them, together with the delivery charges (if applicable). Though, if you chose a faster delivery option, you will only get the basic cost of delivery returned to you. Simply fill out the delivery & returns note enclosed with your order. The goods must be returned in the same condition as received and if possible with all packaging. Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on our swimwear items, unless faulty.

Fred Perry reserves the rights to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned are deemed to have been damaged, worn or tampered with. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is faulty, we will be happy to refund your costs incurred in sending it back.

Please note that we are only able to exchange an item for the same style in a different colour/size.

Refunds can only be made to the original card of purchase. Refunds to a card other than the original can only be processed under the following circumstances:

  1. The original account details have expired
  2. The original account no longer exists

If you have purchased an item online using PayPal or Klarna you cannot return your order in store. Please return your item by post.

Returns via a Fred Perry Shop

If you are the purchaser and wish to return your online order, please bring the following documentation along with your item to one of our shops: delivery & returns note included with your order, proof of your identity and the card which you made payment with. All of these must correspond to the billing address.

Please note, we cannot offer cash refunds for online purchases.

If you have purchased an item online using PayPal or Klarna you cannot return your order in store. Please return your item by post.

If you are exchanging your purchase for a lower priced item, the price difference will be refunded onto your card. Similarly, if you wish to exchange your purchase for an item of a higher price you will be required to pay the difference. If the purchase was made by someone else - for example, you received the item as a gift - you will only be able to exchange your online purchase in store. Please bring the delivery & returns note included with your order and proof of your identity, which must match the delivery address. You will only be able to exchange your item for the same price or higher (and pay the difference) - no money can be refunded to you. If you are unable to present your delivery & returns note and proof of your ID/address, you will only be able to exchange your item to the current selling price or higher (and pay the difference). You will not receive money back if you choose to exchange for a lower priced item.

If you have purchased an item online using American Express, you will need to bring this card into the shop with you as well as an alternative card, as presently we cannot process AMEX cards in our stores.

If you have purchased an item online using PayPal or Klarna you cannot return your order in store. Please return your item by post.

Please note that any item purchased online which you believe to be faulty cannot be returned to a Fred Perry shop. You will need to return this item to the address detailed below - please read our returns policy and returns procedure sections for full instructions..

You can only return online purchases in the following shops:

Germany: Berlin, Cologne, Munich
France: Paris Authentic, Paris Laurel Wreath

International Returns

Fred Perry does not cover the cost of international returns by post. Please return your items via the Post Office, not a courier service as your parcel could become stuck in customs and you will be responsible for any fees incurred. Clearly mark on the delivery & returns note included with your order which items you are returning; the reason for returning them and whether you would like an exchange or refund. We are only able to exchange an item for the same style in a different colour/size. Please ensure this form is enclosed inside your parcel before sending. For your protection we advise that you use a recorded delivery service and obtain a 'Proof of Posting Certificate'. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with how we have dealt with your return please email us on ecommerce@fredperry.com or use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR Platform) at https://ec.europa.eu/odr. The ODR Platform is an interactive and multilingual platform specifically designed for assisting those who have a complaint about goods or services they have bought online.

Goods Purchased In Our Germany And France Fred Perry Shops

Subject to the exceptions below, we are happy to offer a refund or exchange for items purchased from UK Fred Perry standalone shops within 28 days of purchase.

You must return the items to a UK Fred Perry standalone shop in their original condition (unworn, in a saleable condition and with tickets attached) and with proof of purchase (either a paper POS receipt or a copy of the eReceipt) – if not, we may be unable to accept them. Refunds are only available at Fred Perry standalone shops in the original country of purchase and will be made against the original form of payment.

Goods purchased in a UK full-price Fred Perry shop cannot be returned to a Fred Perry concession or outlet.

Bought something from one of Fred Perry’s concessions? Please note that these goods can only be returned to the department store of purchase.

For returns of goods purchased in a Fred Perry shop that is located outside of the UK, please refer to the returns policy of the relevant shop or ask the shop directly for details on its returns policy by contacting them or visiting them in store.
