Describe your style in three words?

Classic, comfy, colourful

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Avril Lavigne - Complicated

From a young age, I always thought Avril Lavigne seemed really cool and incredibly inspiring. Admittedly, I was a bit of a tom-boy in primary school and like her I aimed to share that wild attitude and just do what I wanted to do.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

The Japanese House - Maybe You're the Reason

I’ve been a fan of The Japanese House for a while now and recently I’ve been obsessed with her newest album. I don’t really have an all time favourite album but ‘Maybe You’re the Reason’ lifts my mood without fail and will continue to do so.

A song from your most memorable gig?

The 1975 - Robbers

I’ve only recently become a big gig-goer as before I didn’t live near a city. However, I’ll never forget the first time I saw The 1975 play a small venue in Birmingham. Robbers was a strong favourite back in the day, so that was incredibly memorable.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor

What can I say.. I look good on the dance floor

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Sorry - Jealous Guy

These guys are really interesting and are totally unafraid to introduce abrasive electronic elements to their music. ‘Jealous Guy’ in particular is striking and provides a youthful, modern twist on the John Lennon track of the same name. Definitely worth a listen!

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Queen - We Will Rock You - Remastered

I can never recall a time that I’ve heard this song played quietly, and that’s the way it should stay- it was meant to be blasted!!

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Atomic Kitten - Eternal Flame - Single Version

From my early teenage years nothing would beat the pop girl groups Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud and Sugababes. They all had at least one absolute bop.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

Madonna - Express Yourself

This track has undoubtably become an anthem of personal expression and empowerment. Gets you feeling like a confident queen WOOO.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Mabel - Don't Call Me Up

Usually at the end of the night I’m either still on a high or sleepy and happy , so I love a bit of Mabel to carry on the sass.
