Introduce yourself
I’m Steph from Singapore. I am a digital marketing executive by day, by night and weekends, I’m a dancer specializing in Waacking and a content creator.

Describe your style in 3 words?
Street, chic, versatile.

What does the Fred Perry Shirt mean to you?
I feel that a staple piece like a shirt shows that while Fred Perry has strong relevance to a certain subculture, it is still able to transcend across styles and culture groups, proving it’s timelessness and ease as a brand.

What is the first song you played on repeat?
'Radio Gaga' by Queen. Queen were my Dad’s favourite band and he used to play their music a lot when I was growing up and my brother and I would sing along. 'Radio Gaga' somehow became an anthem for us.

What is one record you would keep forever?
Queen Greatest Hits II - it features some of the most iconic Queen songs that I grew up with, carrying some of my best childhood memories.

What is a song lyric that has inspired you?
'The Show Must Go On' by Queen. I had a lot of down moments in my life but the words in the song, and the emotions in Freddie’s voice touched me and constantly reminded me to keep pushing on and become stronger.

What has been the best gig you've been to?
Haven’t been to many gigs to say any has impacted me enough.

Who is your ultimate British musical icon?
Definitely Freddie Mercury.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Numb' by Linkin Park.

What inspires you?
It depends on what it is about, because be it style, dance or even my life principles, I get inspirations from different sources.

04Playlist Notes

Maybe because of dance, I tend to enjoy mellow, alternate sounds couples with strong beats and soulful vocals.
